So out of 100, I have had 62 and not had 38 of the items and of those, 14 I won’t consider eating. Some I haven’t tried are alcohol and I don’t drink nowadays. I also WILL NOT eat raw meat, brains or internal organs.
On the other hand I have eaten many items I am sure most have not. I grew up in a rural household and we ate what was put in front of us – so I am more than sure my mom served us horse once. Hare is actually quite good if prepared right. I have felt often that if you are going to eat meat, at least eat good tasting meat – not factory raised tasteless beef and chicken!
The one on road kill had me laughing: I probably should uncheck that one….who knows where the Venison came from when I was young. Most people nowadays freak out if hitting a deer – there are still areas in the US where passerby’s fight over who gets to take the animal home to be stacked away neatly in the freezer. Waste not, want not
A fun quiz indeed!
