I know this may sound odd, but I don&#039;t like the texture or taste of fresh. It is kind of a deal - I&#039;ll eat the canned and the guys still get meat. I was a long time vegan and still to this day don&#039;t like handling raw meat :( Price wise though, a can is around $2.50 at Costco and feeds the 3 of us, so not bad overall!
