PR Companies and Manufacturers:
We are a PR friendly blog. We would love to talk to you.
Our blogs specialize in reviews of outdoor wear/gear, workout items, cooking and kitchen items, cookbooks, books, items for male toddlers, pre-schoolers and teenagers and food, glorious food, but are open to other genres as well – I (and the family) enjoy trying out new items and do so very often. We are primarily plant-based and lean to vegan-friendly foods that are peanut-free. Our youngest child is peanut/tree nut/egg/dairy and wheat free as well, we specialize in reviewing cookbooks/products in this area, as well as recipe development.
We are a family of 5 and use every item we receive to give an honest review. We try to post our reviews in a timely manner, within a month of receiving the items. Your review will be posted on this blog (Gazing In) or our sister blog (Trail Cooking) and on our Facebook Pages and potentially cross posted on our other websites/Facebook Pages/Twitter depending on what the item is.
For PR companies, if you use Cision, we are listed with them (and are used quite often) and as well with NetGalley, and others.
If interested please send me an email at sarah @ trailcooking dot com or contact us via the Contact Form. If your items are a match to our interests I will get back to you promptly.
Our postal shipping address is:
PO BOX 556
Maple Valley, Wa 98038
We are more than happy to provide a street address for UPS and Fed Ex shipments via email.
This little man enjoys reviewing products (here enjoying a Born Free cup sent to him):
Disclaimer On Reviews Of Products and Food On Our Blog:
We receive items from manufacturers, companies and public relation firms to review. We try to keep an honest opinion about the items and to let our readers know we received the item to review. If the item is to us so bad we cannot test sample it or it is unsafe, we decline not review it publicly and/or simply turn down the chance to review it in the first place. We enjoy getting the chance to review items, it is an enjoyable part of blogging after all! We also work with manafacturers in recipe development and with promotions, which are paid work.
(Interested in the FTC Regulations on disclosure of freebies for review? Head here!)
We love conferences and expos, check what we have and will be attending.
